Members Joe G Posted April 23, 2007 Members Posted April 23, 2007 Being fairly new to TR, I have my boat docked at the KC Marina, and fish from there mostly. Just moved here last August, and only had the chance to fish 9 or 10 times last year, and only once this year. Got in the middle of drop shot time, and it was tough, but I managed to catch 10-12 keepers on points and bliff ends. My Dad from Kansas City is coming up this coming weekend, and I would really like to catch some fish with him, as he taught me this wonderful hobby when I was barely big enough to walk. Does anybody have any tips on the Kimberlin City area for crappie or bass. From reading the posts, it appears dragging grubs, doctors, and finesse worms are good on the secondary points and cove mouths. Also, are the bluffs producing any fish? Thanks!!! You all are the best
MOBass Posted April 23, 2007 Posted April 23, 2007 Check my post on fishing Indian. I didn't brave the main lake to check any bluffs though. It was victory at sea in Indian and the main lake was probably worse. Central Pro Am had a tournament this weekend and there might be some information posted about what worked. Good luck.
