I've seen these guys +150 times since 1993. When Mikey died so did Panic. I gave it a noble effort of about a dozen shows with Mikey's "replacement" George McConnel, but I knew guys in High School who could shred circles around that guy. It was sad really.

Now, after attending two nights at the Uptown in Kansas City, MO I can attest to the fact that the boys are riding high again. The guitar player who now graces the stage is simply a consummate professional. Check him out here and here.

I saw those guys 5 times in the 90's and do they ever put on a good show and never a repeat of a previous show. I can't get time to see summer shows anymore, but just hearing about them here reminds of some good times.

I'm one and the same.Gotta luv it when they break out the Vic Chestnutt tunes.Last Dance appears to be in a strong rotation these days also.My main issue with G-Mac was that he just couldn't play the dark stuff like Mikey could and Jimmy can, but he's a truly nice guy and I hope he finds success in the future Dan-o
