So the boat I bought has a Swivel Eze 238 pedestal system. There are 4 bases in bottom of boat and one each on front & back decks. Lowe Deep Vee Fishing Machine. If I don't want to have a pedestal and seat installed the base allows rain water down right on top of the foam. There is not a drain line to the bilge. Lund apparently used to do that, but  Lowe apparently does not. Iam having trouble finding a 2 3/8" plug to use when I do not have a pedestal installed. I would like to help keep rain water and split shot out when pedestals are not in use. Driving home Sunday in the rain I took on more water in some compartments due to this. I can travel with the pedestals in, but if I get caught on the lake in a rain storm that is going to suck. Attwood has what they call splash guards for the 238 system, but when I ordered them they are no where near close to fitting. More meant to fill the hole if you removed the entire base, not plug the empty pedestal base. Appreciate any wisdom you all may have

Couple of opinions.  Isnt water already in the boat from rain, so where it enters into the bilge area isnt really important? Another thing i would do is take each base out, see of they have a drain line connected and running to the bilge area. If not i would do that to direct that water to the rear VS it maybe not making its way to the back right away.
