Best baits in order were a yellow rooster tail, a watermelon with bright orange tailed slider, and a little brown crawdad crankbait. Had a 2 ft or so gar take the slider but jumped and threw it. Water seemed fairly dirty, certain areas were worse than others, but probably about normal water clarity. Some spots were pretty low with some big rocks sticking up. Just got off the river at Cox myself a bit ago. Yes the water was dingy; not a light algae green, just dirty. I'd of thought it would be clearer than that the way the river is coming down. 805 at Galena gauge now. Nice looking fish. Seth Clarkson 1
Jacob McIntosh Posted June 10, 2018 Posted June 10, 2018 Most of the big riffles below the marble grounds should be taken on the lest side I've been able to run from Jamesville on down to the lake in my jet boat it should be no problem for a yak
