Walleye questions

I have a relative that lives near the lake. He says with all the bass in the lake there are no Walleye left and that guides won’t even take you out after Walleye because they can’t be found. Is any of this true? If there are fishable populations what techniques work the best there? Thanks in advance

we catch walleye every time we fish Greers. We have caught them trolling crankbaits, running bottom bouncers, using live minnows under the lights at night and on in line spinners and spoons. haven't caught any over probably 18 inches but we catch plenty. We are usually fishing for hybrids but always seem to pick up plenty of crappie and walleye. Bass are easily the fish we catch the least. We will get some kentuckies blow up on topwater every now and then, we don't target bass but we rarely catch an accidental bass like we do accidental walleye.

The walleye are in there and the guides know where to find them, your best bet will be a jig the rivers in the early spring and pullin cranks and spinners on flats in summer, allways worked for me on Greers.
