Visiting next week, need a place to fish

I will be in Nixa all next week and will be hauling my Skeeter over. Looking at fishing any or all 3 of these lakes while I'm there(Fellows, Springfield and McDaniels). Never been to any of them. Is one better than the others right now? Will be mainly morning fishing. Not looking for secret spots or anything like that. Just taking my buddy who's a Veteran out for a while to relax and hopefully catch a few. Thanks for any help!

I don't think that they will let you put that boat in any of those 3 lakes.  The last that I heard was Springfield lake has a 6 horse limit and Fellows a 40.  I don't know if they even allow boats on McDaniel.   You probably should look at one of the other surrounding lakes.

No boats allowed at McDaniels. If you are going to be in Nixa, you might just head over to Cape Fair on Table Rock.

Yup just found that info last night. Thanks guys. Looking like Stockton or Tablerock it is.

Cape Fair launch ramp is probably your best shot for Table Rock lake. Stockton a little farther drive but may be worth the extra drive for a lake that is a little less pressured than table rock.
