Members Ozark Nomad Posted July 13, 2018 Members Posted July 13, 2018 I'm new to the area and want to fish Crane Creek very badly. Not knowing much about the creek I am wondering what the water temps are like in the middle of the summer. I'd like to fish it soon but if the water temps are high I will wait as to not stress and/or kill fish. Any info is greatly appreciated. bkbying89 1

The best thing to do is wait until its a cooler day , over cast or even light rain help. After a storm can be the best fishing down there. Big bugs and nymphs will get destroyed. Thos time of year be aware of everything. Try to avoid walking in the water and be quick to release the fish. It is cold water all year but If the water is too low it can get warm. I'm going Tuesday I'll report the conditions as they are. Good luck Ozark Nomad 1
