We put in at Aunt's Creek for the first time ever. We put in this morning at about 9:00 AM and took out at 5:35 PM. Rained this morning, and hotter than hades this evening. Water temps from 69 to 72. We fished points and pea gravel areas. We caught five nice keepers and a bunch of short fish. I love the fish doctor and I always seem to go back to it. There was no wind today at all, so I went to the red fin. We caught all of the keepers on the red fin. Most of the fish were real shallow. twelve feet or so.

I also really like Aunt's Creek area. Nice, clean and I already had my year pass. We saw a humorous thing happen at the end of the day. We saw a man taking his stuff from his truck and putting it in his boat as we approached the ramp. My partner asked if he was ready, or should he back the trailer up. I told him to see if the other guy started backing up or was still loading his boat and decide from there. My partner backed in the trailer and I drove the boat onto the trailer. The other guy backed his trailer in as we were pulling out. He backed in and his boat floated off of the trailer and out into the lake! I told my partner to stop strapping down the boat so we could give the feller a hand. ( I have done similar things in the past). Before I could ask the guy if he needed assistance.....he gave us a look and jumped off of the dock and into the water. He swam to his boat and used his trolling motor to get it back to the dock. Man o man what a start to a fishing day for him!
