Wayne SW/MO Posted May 9, 2007 Posted May 9, 2007 There are several good brands, Seattle, Sealine NRS, Cascade, and the list goes on. I have several, up to and including a backpack, but I've settled on packing according to use, and fitting the bag to contents. You might check out sierraoutdoors.com, they often have blems or close outs of top brands. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
Danimal Posted May 10, 2007 Posted May 10, 2007 20 yrs x 25 trips per yr! i think i'm doing good if i get in an overnite trip once or twice a summer....next wknd though! Thanks guys for the good info. will keep checkin. b Oops, that was supposed to be 15-- hadn't yet drank any coffee when I typed that this morning. As for Sealine bags, I agree that the bags themselves are very durable, but the quick-release snaps start breaking after a few years. Dan-o RELEASE THOSE BROWNIES!!
bobber Posted May 23, 2007 Posted May 23, 2007 a buddy of mine has the new dr. style bags. i have the roll-down sealline and some ozark trail. the newiest is a giant duffle backpack, one bag, and it all goes in it, and i mean all of it! but the 5-gallon bucket trick is hard to beat if you have the room. <*)))))))>< * AMERICAN CANOE ASSOCIATION CERTIFIED CANOE, and SWIFT WATER RESCUE INSTRUCTOR.*
