dnj21 Posted November 5, 2018 Posted November 5, 2018 I was out of state, didn't get out this weekend. Any one do any good?
BilletHead Posted November 6, 2018 Posted November 6, 2018 No, Our little pond in the river bottoms not far from one of the duck parks was nothing but a small mud hole. Seen lots of birds but no interest in us. Last three years we have done good there. dnj21 Posted November 6, 2018 Author Posted November 6, 2018 Almost all my spots are in the Middle zone, guess I will deer hunt this weekend. Not a fan of the split, I liked a North zone open, then Middle following weekend. Got two opening days back to back, plus a lot of guys were out chasing deer this coming weekend. Used to be able to draw in to Schell most of the time on the deer opener. If you do any good, pls share..... BilletHead, semble and slothman 3

The number of times I’ve gone since the quick draw was implemented has heavily decreased. It really messed up all of my “backup” spots. I could go on and on. Not a fan. I do need to get out and have a good duck day sometime soon though.
Members Buck Posted November 7, 2018 Members Posted November 7, 2018 Very slow for us. We killed a pintail, woody and gadwall opening day in the middle zone. Best I heard of was one group of guys that had been hunting the area we were at for the past 20+ years killed 14 teal.
Lancer09 Posted November 7, 2018 Posted November 7, 2018 Saturday we saw 30 is bird, but 20 or so were in one group. the rest were singles or doubles that would work but never really commit before moving off. Saturday saw 6. had two come into the spread right at first shooting light. I missed. Pretty crappy weekend up south of KC too.
dnj21 Posted November 7, 2018 Author Posted November 7, 2018 I am interested to see if this cold snap next couple days empties Missouri of the fair weather ducks. Little early for the Mallards, if the Woodies and Pintails, etc get cold blooded and leave November may be slow......
