Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted November 18, 2018 Root Admin Posted November 18, 2018 Since I got the text notifications on my phone as to when the Corps changes generation flows, and they're on the 35 megawatts 24 hours a day pattern now, they change the flow slightly every hour at about the 20 minute mark. It's like they can't let it run the same without changing something for more than an hour. Interesting.

Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted November 19, 2018 Author Root Admin Posted November 19, 2018 Don't know. Some facilities go down for maintenance but wouldn't think it would be now.
NoLuck Posted November 19, 2018 Posted November 19, 2018 Hard to say about an outage schedule. I've worked a bunch of them across the country and there is no rhyme or reason on their schedules. You would think that it would be during low demand times. Normally November in MO isn't crazy cold. So if they scheduled an outage then it would go on as planned. Regardless of actual demand. So they may be using the generation as filler for high demand on the grid. JM2C
netboy Posted November 20, 2018 Posted November 20, 2018 They were running 35 MW constantly at Bull Shoals for the last couple of months. They finally lowered it to 7 MW with bumps in the morning and evening. Seems like when Bull Shoals lower their flows Table Rock increases or vice versa.
