Quillback Posted June 6, 2007 Posted June 6, 2007 I'm still on the fence about going, it being a 125 mile drive from here. But, I just found out it's FREE FISHING WEEKEND in MO this weekend, so I won't need to purchase a non-res license. Where is Cedar Ridge picnic area? At Stockton State park?

But, I just found out it's FREE FISHING WEEKEND in MO this weekend, so I won't need to purchase a non-res license. Where is Cedar Ridge picnic area? At Stockton State park? Not quiet in the state park. I am attaching a map of Stockton Lane just look for Cedar Ridge. GF I will bring a few extra drinks just incase someone run short. Plus I can bring the tators I already have a huge amount of them. Do you want them whole sliced, diced or curley type fries heck I can even make some that looks like little mushrooms LOL Just teasing but then again maybe? LOL Jes plain ol french fry looking taters will be fine. I would rather be fishin'. "Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch. Don Posted June 6, 2007 Posted June 6, 2007 I'm not sure I'll make it. I'm busy with my daughters this weekend. If I go, it will be a last minute decision. Don Don May I caught you a delicious bass.
gonefishin Posted June 6, 2007 Author Posted June 6, 2007 GF, Not to sound silly but who's incharge of the fire for the iron? Or is it propane? Good question. I assumed KFF was going to be in charge of the fire. I shouldn't assume, so it would be best to ask him. Sunday the 10th works for me. I can bring a cast iron dutch oven and propane burner. John Does this mean you will be in charge of the fire and cooking? I would rather be fishin'. "Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch. Kansas Fly Fisher Posted June 6, 2007 Posted June 6, 2007 Propane fire with a dutch oven to cook in. If someone helps I'll sure help with the cooking. Just don't want to blamed for messing up a good fry. Also, my wife and granddaughter (8 year old) will mostly likely be coming along as well. John Born to Fish, Forced to Work KSMEDIC.COM

One I wanted to know if I need to bring a fish fryer and second some people are touchy about their cooking equipment, dutch ovens, in particular. I certainly would not leave it all up to one person and don't mind helping with the cooking at all. Good, on the wife and child. This is a 'gill get together and hence should be family fun.
