gonefishin
I will be driving a White Chevy S-10. I plan to get there about 6am or so. I would rather be fishin'. Quillback
Ok, I'm planning to go. I'm coming up by myself and I'll be bringing the boat, I can fit two people in the boat (it will be a little cramped) besides myself if any of you shore fishers want to boat fish with me. I plan on moving down the bank with thr trolling motor tossing redworms to likely looking spots. I'm going to try and get there by 0700-0730. I can bring paper plates, plastic cups, plastic utensils if it's still needed. I don't know if I'll stay for the fish fry, just depends how late it is when we start. I'm assuming there's a boat launch near where we're meeting? I'm also thinking of bringing a couple of jugs and put some of those pesky little green perch to work - I'm assuming jugging is legal on Stockton? If any of you wants to fish with me just use the message feature on the board so we don't clutter this thread and I'll get back to you. Anybody bringing cell phone? Could be useful to pass on info when we're on the lake.
gonefishin
Glad you are going to make it Ok, I'm planning to go. Should be a good plan. Might even pick up a walleye or two. I can bring paper plates, plastic cups, plastic utensils if it's still needed. I don't know if I'll stay for the fish fry, just depends how late it is when we start. Paper and plastic would be good. I figure to start cooking around 12 or 1 I'm assuming there's a boat launch near where we're meeting? Yes there is a boat ramp right across the cove. I'm also thinking of bringing a couple of jugs and put some of those pesky little green perch to work - I'm assuming jugging is legal on Stockton? As far as I know it is legal. Probably a good idea to check up on it tho. If any of you wants to fish with me just use the message feature on the board so we don't clutter this thread and I'll get back to you. Anybody bringing cell phone? Could be useful to pass on info when we're on the lake. I will have my cell with me and I am sure others will too. I would rather be fishin'. Wayne SW/MO
I'm assuming jugging is legal on Stockton? Given the location I would make sure they are labeled legally. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.

Quillback
I was out checking the boat, looks like an inner seal is blown on one of the wheels and it's throwing grease, if I knew how to repack bearings I'd fix it myself, but I don't. Anyway, as much as I hate to do it I'm going to have to cancel, just can't bring myself to drive two hours worrying whether that bearing will hold up. Someone else will have to bring the utensils. Sorry about this, I really hate missing out, I had gotten everything ready, bought worms, rigged gear etc.
Kansas Fly Fisher
Weather.com shows 80% chance for thunderstorms today and the radar looks like it could happen. We're getting ready to head that way from S.E. Kansas. Anyone else still planning on making the trip? Hope the weather holds off.
