Danoinark Posted May 26, 2007 Posted May 26, 2007 Well, here is how I interpret that law. A police officer is a Criminal Justice Official. If he is on duty, he acting in official capacity. To me, even if he was off duty, in a criminal case such as this, he would be acting in his official capacity. This case would certainly qualify for criminal justice purposes. That is just the way I see it. I think I can see us butting heads on this too though. LOL!!! Naw...with that I agree...lets just go fishin' Dano Glass Has Class "from the laid back lane in the Arkansas Ozarks"
MrDucky Posted May 26, 2007 Author Posted May 26, 2007 Wow you guy's i did not mean to make anyone argue . Im sorry that this has turned into a big deal , an update though he has driven thru are lot again 3 different occasions , the rear of his car has the tag on but when he leaves the lot for a minute he returns with no plate or tag . Him and his female counterpart have now tried to get gas from us a total of 4 times . they pull to our far pump and lift the nozzle and hit the grade button , that calls inside the store for us to approve or not to approve . The clerks tell him or her they must come inside and prepay , he did one time and that is all i needed . i took a great picture of him and now am able to give the detectives a great security photo of this fella . i really apprieciate all the suggestions and offers of help , but to me i dont see 2 wrongs making a right , his drive off with fuel and me illegaly obtaining his info . however the license plate i have for it returned not in file , i have a customer who is a dispatcher for a police dept . I showed her the photo of the car and the plate it had on it Anyways please forgive me for posting this , I just wanted some help I have paid the owners for this matter . and i agree its a crappie policy to make the clerk pay for stolen gas or anything missing unless them there self r caught stealing from security cam . I also see the owners point , they approve a pump and the car drives off after the clerk has been informed that this theft would be deducted from there check while filling out new hire paperwork >>>>> that is what i look like when i say i need a new job once again im sorry and i wont post anything like this again Yikes!!! I Hate that warning horn

davekeim Posted May 26, 2007 Posted May 26, 2007 Mr. Ducky, never a problem. You took this serious and a few friends gave their opinions. We're all great people and that is what makes the world go round. Funny how if you just sit back and watch, things seem to take care of them selves sometimes. Abdito and fish! Signed, Cardiac Abdito! Chief Grey Bear Posted May 26, 2007 Posted May 26, 2007 and i agree its a crappie policy to make the clerk pay for stolen gas or anything missing A "Crappie" situation. What does the poor fish have to with this crappy situation? Just kidding. I knew what you ment. I know things may have looked heated, but there weren't on my part, and I don't think they were on Dano's either. Like he said it was just a spirited debate. Which I think is good. People can learn things. I know I do. I plead to you and to others, if you have a question, let's answer it and then debate it. If needed. brittsnbirds Posted May 26, 2007 Posted May 26, 2007 Ok Ducky- I wasn't going to do anything illegal. In my years of investigation I have come to the theory of "making me more intelligent". When I offer that comment up in a interview most people good/bad usually are more than happy to "make me more intelligent". That's what this job is all about, just getting smarter so you can catch the bad guy. An old detective years ago told me "Mac, there's more than one way to skin a cat". You just have to get "intelligent" enough to "get er done". I'll be at BSP starting the 31st till ??????? at least the 6th. If your in the area look for a silver 03 chevy w/ a 1206 Jayco and a cute brittany standing at the door. I'll be in campground 5 somewhere (hopefully close to the potty)! One other question, is Chief Greybear a real PO chief or is he a native american chief?
Danoinark Posted May 27, 2007 Posted May 27, 2007 I know things may have looked heated, but there weren't on my part, and I don't think they were on Dano's either. Absolutely, Chief has it right... Glass Has Class "from the laid back lane in the Arkansas Ozarks"
SilverMallard Posted May 27, 2007 Posted May 27, 2007 On Branson radio yesterday (KHOZ), they were telling everyone to watch their cars because people are stealing license plates from cars similar to their own and using the stolen plate to go steal gas. When the plate is run, the cops come knocking on YOUR door instead of the thief's. crappiefisherman Posted May 27, 2007 Posted May 27, 2007 so these idiots are driving around burning gas, looking for similar plates to steal, so they can fill up so they can drive around looking for more plates. And I thought all the scholars wasted time posting in here. [ [
