I don't believe it is even legal to charge back your clerks. Plus your station gets an income tax deduction for the theft and she pays for it. This sounds like a win for the store.

I worked for a company that was charging back repairs to the equipment that they deamed was neglect of the employee and well lets say it cost the company a lot of back money plus fines and intrest. Plus the managers were sued personaly and they had to hire an attorny. Now they didnt have to pay because the company did but if for some reason the company could not have paid they would have had to. If I recall right it was something like 86000.00 plus fines. It is something you should really watch!
