Troutn Posted June 2, 2007 Posted June 2, 2007 From what I hear, Leonard doesn't much care for the stormy weather. I should make it down there around 10:30 - 11:00 if some of these storms clear off. nathan
Members Old Stumbler Posted June 2, 2007 Members Posted June 2, 2007 Yes, Leonard doesn't have any hats to keep the water out of his eyes. A major weakness in his fishing equipment. He called me tonight and I warned him about the rain. Thats ok. I will sleep well tonight and worry about fishing tomorrow. I love my bed. I could float a boat down most of the streets in Springfield tonight. See you later and hope your lines are tight. I hate those "toe stumblin" rocks!!!
Troutn Posted June 2, 2007 Posted June 2, 2007 Well, it's a little too nasty out there for me tonight! I'm staying home where it's warm and dry. Perhaps it will let up a little in the morning?
gonefishin Posted June 2, 2007 Posted June 2, 2007 I am with Leonard....rain doesn't bother me but when it comes to lightning, I am out of there. I see no good reason to wave a rod around when there is lightning about. I would rather be fishin'. "Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch. Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote." Benjamin Franklin, 1759
duckydoty Posted June 2, 2007 Author Posted June 2, 2007 Well, Leonard showed up last night. Everything pretty much cleared up down there around midnight to 1:00 A.M. and the moon even came out. Those of us that kept fishing had a good night. Caught lots and lots of fish duckdoty A Little Rain Won't Hurt Them Fish.....They're Already Wet!! Visit my website at.. Ozark Trout Runners
Troutn Posted June 3, 2007 Posted June 3, 2007 Well, that's how it usually goes with me. All the fish were caught last night by the dynamic duo. I'll probably strike out tonight.
