Members Woodchuck Posted June 13, 2007 Members Posted June 13, 2007 The finley is about 3 feet from touching the Riverdale bridge. I doubt if fishing is very good right now.
Terry Beeson Posted June 13, 2007 Posted June 13, 2007 Crossed the James this morning on FM 141 bridge. There was a sign that the bridge was closed. Looks like the water had gone over last night, but was BARELY going under it this morning. LOTS of debris against the bridge. Yep... the fishing in either river is probably not good for a few days... RSBreth Posted June 13, 2007 Posted June 13, 2007 Heritage Dodge/Jeep/Whatever was forced to move cars off the lot closest to the Finley, due to water. Highest I've seen in a few years. Broke the drought though, didn't it? Look at the USGS gauge at Galena. James is unfishable, basically.
Tightline Posted June 14, 2007 Posted June 14, 2007 Was at Riverdale bridge last night the water was unbelieveable, and so was the smell,it smelled just like raw sewage.I guess Nixa and Ozark thought it would be a good time to flush their treatment plants out!
crappiefisherman Posted June 14, 2007 Posted June 14, 2007 went to test drive a new jeep liberty and there was a 17 inch smallmouth in the glovebox [ [
