Guest rwolfe Posted June 13, 2007 Posted June 13, 2007 Does anyone know the number that you can call that has the supposed schedule of generation for the next day? I'm sure that I have seen it posted as such on here before but can't find it.
Terry Beeson Posted June 13, 2007 Posted June 13, 2007 Click here to get the schedule for the day and the number... 866-494-1993 Note that this is the schedule for the current day. They will updated the next day schedule around 5pm the day before. Supposedly, the weekend schedule (Sat and Sun) is available after 5pm Friday... Be sure you look at the top of the schedule to make sure you are on the right DATE... Also, you will want to call before you take off because the schedule doesn't always hold true... vanven Posted June 13, 2007 Posted June 13, 2007 I actually called and listened through the next couple of days. Looks like they are prdicting an almost constant 2 units. I may have to take up purse shopping at the outlet malls as a second hobby if the Taney gods continue to attempt to flood out every trip I try to make down there. I am stubborn, so I am still coming down for the rest of the week. -Jerod
Terry Beeson Posted June 13, 2007 Posted June 13, 2007 Just come down to the pavillion... Bring a live chicken, two dead possums, a new 4X leader, $250 in tens and twenties, a 750ML bottle of Royal Crown, and a buxom blonde virgin college girl (over 18) with you. Go out in the woods behind the pavillion and sacrafice the afore mentioned items to the Taney gods... Better yet... you better let me do it for you. You might mess things up... Dutch Posted June 13, 2007 Posted June 13, 2007 There are 3 different sources to consider concerning Taneycomo water flow: SWPA schedules, Empire Electric schedules and the USACE schedule. The SWPA posts their planned generations for major lakes at http://www.swpa.gov/generationschedules.aspx. The guys at the Powersite Dam told me that they only gen. when they get a call from their dispatcher. They never know when that will happen. Then there is the Corps. They can order any amount at any time to be let out of Table Rock with no notice what so ever.
