buzzbaitr Posted March 20, 2020 Posted March 20, 2020 My 13yr old son and I are going down tomorrow to fish and I was wondering how much the heavy rain dirtied up the lake? I like to throw a jerkbait this time of year but hard to do with dirty water. Thanks for the info.
Dutch Posted March 20, 2020 Posted March 20, 2020 You may want to call COE or State Park and check on the curtesy dock situation the way the lake has risen.
Skeeter ZX190 Posted March 20, 2020 Posted March 20, 2020 If the Corps of Engineers forecast is correct, the lake is to rise 3 1/2 between today and tomorrow.
buzzbaitr Posted March 20, 2020 Author Posted March 20, 2020 Wow. That's a lot. Isn't it already 7ft high?
Skeeter ZX190 Posted March 21, 2020 Posted March 21, 2020 The Corps forecast page for the Kansas City Region has Stockton at 874.48 today (Friday 3-20) and to be 878.02 tomorrow.
buzzbaitr Posted March 21, 2020 Author Posted March 21, 2020 Thanks everyone. With that much rising water we are probably going pond fishing tomorrow.
