Heretolearn Posted June 1, 2020 Posted June 1, 2020 If you are wanting to catch a limit, I would wait until they quit dropping the lake so much. Once they start letting out ~6 inches a day, my luck fishing for them dramatically drops. It's more fishing and a whole lot less catching. There are a lot better fisherman on this site than me, but that has been my experience over the past 2 years and the same trend on both Pomme and Stockton.
Members hambandit Posted June 5, 2020 Author Members Posted June 5, 2020 Well you weren’t wrong. Tuesday we gave it a go. Water temp 74, sunny all day. Caught a couple good crappie and a few bass, a Muskie and had a real good walleye on that came off at the boat. Ended up taking home a nice sunburn but not enough crappie to mess with cleaning so we let them go. Sure beat workin tho. Heretolearn 1
