Members Wrath Posted June 24, 2007 Members Posted June 24, 2007 So who are the night-fishing big trout gurus here? I'd like to talk to a few of you guys about the various techniques, timing, etc over email or private messages. I'm used to night-fishing (throwing mice flies for trout) in Michigan, but it's a bit different down here I've noticed. Thanks in advance!
davekeim Posted June 24, 2007 Posted June 24, 2007 Soo Wrath, what have you caught lately? Signed, Cardiac Abdito! Another Beautiful Day In The Ozarks
Greg Posted June 24, 2007 Posted June 24, 2007 Talk to Michael at Back Country Outfitters in Spfld, MO. He's definitely one of the local night fishing gurus. Greg "My biggest worry is that my wife (when I'm dead) will sell my fishing gear for what I said I paid for it" - Koos Brandt Greg Mitchell

Well, with an night-stalker type avatar like that I don't believe I will be going night fishing with you anytime soon. I would rather be fishin'. Members Wrath Posted June 24, 2007 Author Members Posted June 24, 2007 LMAO @ gonefishin Thanks Snowfly and Greeg, I will talk to those guys. davekeim, I have not been out fishing much since moving here to Wichita, KS. Been mostly turkey hutning, working OT, working on my MBA, and traveling back to Michigan. The last few fish I caught in Michigan however were some 8-12# atlantic salmon and some 12-14# brown trout.
davekeim Posted June 24, 2007 Posted June 24, 2007 Wrath, very cool. Good luck with your journey. I've been to Drumond Island salmon fishing. What a great place. I considered never coming home! Had seven in the box one day. Signed, Cardiac Abdito! Another Beautiful Day In The Ozarks
