EVERYone knows that any "soft drink" is to be referred to as a "coke" no matter what the brand... JC... I bought the folding stove before I discovered the coke can stove. They do work really well and the best fuel I've found for them is HEET... Now if I can just figure out how to make that duct tape billfold... jcoberley Posted July 2, 2007 Author Posted July 2, 2007 Can anyone tell me about drying fish? And what it is seasoned with. I know the native americans dryed fish but I was thinking a little more up to date. I didnt want to wait for a windy 100 degree day to air dry it. LOL I thought it might make a good snack when camping. And can one jurk or dry crawdads? Fish slow and easy! Borrowed this one from..........Well you know who! Kayser Posted July 10, 2007 Posted July 10, 2007 What soft drinks are called where (from personal experience). Iowa: pop St. Louis: Soda Anywhere 3hrs or more South of St. Louis: COKE Feel free to commend or condemn this info. JCO- Why not try smoking the fish? A slow open-air hot-smoke may get you what you're after. Rob WARNING!! Comments to be interpreted at own risk. Time spent fishing is never wasted.
gonefishin Posted July 10, 2007 Posted July 10, 2007 Why qwould anyone want to smoke a fish. I imagine finding a rolling paper big enough, unless you catch the same size fish I do, would be difficult and how in the world would you ever get it lit???? I tried to tell those guys on another thread that it was all coke. They didn't believe me. Heh heh I would rather be fishin'. "Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch.
