Tightline Posted July 4, 2007 Posted July 4, 2007 Its been a while since I have seen any kind of report for the daytime. Was just curious as to whats been catching them?
Members patv Posted July 5, 2007 Members Posted July 5, 2007 I also would like to hear a daytime report, as we will be down there this weekend. We will be staying Saturday, the 7th thru Saturday, the 14th. We mainly fish early am, with some afternoons and evenings(maybe even a late night or 2) thrown in also. I would like to hear if they are hitting on powerbait, crawlers, so on. We will hve young'uns with us, so anything we catch is a thrill for them. Just curious, what has generation been like also? Thanks in advance, Pat V.
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted July 5, 2007 Root Admin Posted July 5, 2007 This morning our water is brown. I was over at my nefew's last night and it rained but it must have rained alot harder here. They'll need to run some water today to wash it out. Otherwise, the fishing has been pretty good for most. I've seen alot of rainbows cleaned anyhow. Maybe Billy-Bob has some insight.
Members kitgebhardt Posted July 5, 2007 Members Posted July 5, 2007 I caught a lot of fish on a Crackleback the last few days... Phil, welcome back.
troutchaser Posted July 5, 2007 Posted July 5, 2007 a gob of worms or Powerbait are always on. I recommend Powereggs, since they aren't as messy as regular Powerbait. The three colors I would definitely have on hand are white, bubblegum and orange. The white seems to bring them up most of the time, so one white and one bubblegum or one white and one orange will usually be successful. Paul Rone
