Fishin' Freak Posted July 8, 2007 Posted July 8, 2007 Does anyone know where you can buy a Roadrunner style jighead in 1/4 oz or bigger weight with 3/0 or 4/0 size hooks? Roadrunner does not make them with that big of hooks. Blakemore does have one new style of head out that is very good and I have caught fish off it but it is around $4.50 for three heads. I was just wondering if someone knew somebody local who made jigheads with spinner blades in that size with that big of a hook. Thanks in advance.
WebFreeman Posted July 8, 2007 Posted July 8, 2007 Don't know, but you might try Fin and Feather in Spfd. They make their own stuff. I think their web site is ztackle.com. “Many go fishing all their lives without knowing that it is not fish they are after.” — Henry David Thoreau Visit my web site @ webfreeman.com for information on freelance web design.
gonefishin Posted July 9, 2007 Posted July 9, 2007 I cant think of his name but there is a guy up near Sedalia who makes jigs. I am sure he would make them for you. Maybe someone on here knows his name and number. I would rather be fishin'. "Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch. Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote." Dutch Posted July 9, 2007 Posted July 9, 2007 I have bunches of 1/4 oz with 2/0 hooks and 3/8 oz with 4/0 hooks. It is just the unpainted heads with the swivels; no blades, split rings or bodies. I have never gotten around to doing anything with them. If you are interested, we might set up a meet depending on how many you want and when and where we could get together without spending a fortune in gasoline. What would you be willing to pay by the 100?
