Foam Fly Swap

I've been tying up some foam beetles, grasshoppers, and ants and decided a swap dedicated to foam flies would be fun. So . . . who's in? We'll see what kind of interest we have before we set a due date and number of tyers.

I'm in as well. I don't do much tying with foam but I do carry some foam patterns that I have done very well with. One of these is the Foam Flying Ant which I will attempt to tie for the swap.

I don't use foam that much myself. This will give me an opportunity to brush up on those skills. I guess that's some insight on how good my bugs will look. I'll let you know later about what pattern I will tie.

I will be tying Amy's Ant. I think our vice president Dick Cheney fishes this fly, that is, if he's not hunting. If I had the opportunity, I'm not sure if I would fish with him. He would probably hook me in the eye and knock me into the river.

Uhmmm I dont know about this one... Depending on the deadline I might be in with a beetle but this is kind of a look at beetle rather than a fish it... Im going to National conclave sooo uhmmm I guess count me in with that thing I described... Anyone wanna help me give it a name?
