WebFreeman Posted July 15, 2007 Posted July 15, 2007 I can't find the link in the forum. Danoinark Posted July 15, 2007 Posted July 15, 2007 Web, Phil can give the specifics, but I think that last crash while he was in Alaska caused some issues and its down for the time being. Dano Glass Has Class "from the laid back lane in the Arkansas Ozarks"
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted July 15, 2007 Root Admin Posted July 15, 2007 The site went down when the hackers attacked a few weeks ago. They had to rebuild several servers. They had to update some server software on the server the store was on, then update X-Cart. In the process, not sure I understand it all, but the data, or at least the images, have to be reloaded. Well... I spent about 100 hours setting it up last winter and am not enthused about doing it all again. I'm working on an OA upgrade right now. May be later this fall I'll get back to the store. Not sure why hackers to what they do... but they don't get caught too often enough and I'm sure the fine is too low.
Kansas Fly Fisher Posted July 16, 2007 Posted July 16, 2007 Wouldn't it be great to hack a hacker! Then maybe they would understand the trouble they cause for no apparent reason. John Born to Fish, Forced to Work KSMEDIC.COM
