Members kitgebhardt Posted July 17, 2007 Members Posted July 17, 2007 Hey Dano... that pic turned out pretty good for 2am lighting... (Of course, Dano's net is from Europe... measures in centimeters... ) Now that is funny.
Jeremy Hunt Posted July 17, 2007 Author Posted July 17, 2007 I didn't know that guides did that. I always use an extra extender for my arms and actually have a minature fly rod with Scott on it that I use to photograph fish. The one in the picture shown is actually only 6 ounces. OK I have been outed BTW if you look at Jeremy's upper arms... they are compeltely visible. If he was stretching out his arm that much you wouldn't see them. I've seen some of Jeremy's fish caught with a fishing buddy not on a guided trip and he doesn't need to exagerate Nice fish Jeremy! Thanx for saying that. I guess you know me. Actually if you want to know the truth about the fish, I didn't even think about how I took the picture. That's just how it was taken. Another thing is, I'm glad everyone said nice fish. that was the right thing to say. Just trying to show some people a nice fish at night. AND FOR PHIL (WHO OWNS THIS FORUM) YOU SHOULDN'T SLAM PEOPLE FOR THE WAY THEY TAKE A PICTURE. ESPECIALLY SOMEBODY WHO TRIED TO HELP YOU CREATE A NICE FLY SHOP WITH ORDERING SUPPLIES ETC. I THINK YOUR CHILDISH FOR SAYING SOMETHING LIKE THAT. GIVE PEOPLE CREDIT WHERE CREDIT IS DO. I BELIEVE THAT WAS THE WRONG THING TO SAY. I WOULD APPRECIATE IT IF YOU WOULD TAKE ME OFF THE FORUM. I WILL NO LONGER TIE YOUR FLIES OR HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH YOU. I'M NOT HAPPY WITH YOU PHIL AND YOU KNOW WHY. ALL I'VE TRIED TO DO IS HELP YOU. YOU DON'T RESPECT ME AND IT SHOWS. AND I'M GLAD THAT EVERYBODY IS READING THIS. IT'S TO BAD, BUT MOVING ON TO BETTER PLACES. TO ALL MY FELLOW FLY FISHERS, LOOK FOR MY NEW FORUM COMING UP REAL SOON. Accept the drift.....<>>><flysandguides.comVisit my blog
Tightline Posted July 17, 2007 Posted July 17, 2007 Jeremy, nice fish, whatever size it was.I think you took it all wrong though,I think Phil was saying is we all take pic's of fish the same ole way.I took one of my sons Brown Sat,and that fish doesn't look near as big or pretty as it really was.I think if I had just snapped a pic with it laying in the water on the gravel it would have been better. We didn't have anything to measure his with, and he held it up next to his chest, and also let his tail drop.I thought it was a good 20 in or better but now after seeing the pic I don't know. Keep cool Jeremy.
Jeremy Hunt Posted July 17, 2007 Author Posted July 17, 2007 If you look at the pic, it shows my hands are NOT all the way erxtended as Everyone is incinuating.....thanks for your support...im over it! Kind Regards, Jeremy see you on the river! Accept the drift.....<>>><flysandguides.comVisit my blog

twosets Posted July 17, 2007 Posted July 17, 2007 Let me add to the refrain, nice fish. Now, when Phil says he is "not a fan" of something, he is expressing an opinion, not "slamming" The only thing that I have ever heard Phil slam is rude behavior, which Col Mcray from Lonesome Dove(one of my favorites)along with Phil "will not tolorate" I wish that personal issues and confrotations would be handled in a face to face or e-mail to e-mail (adult) manner, not as a public matter. They have no place on this forum in my opinion. In that regard, I think Jeremy is out of line here. Lets keep this about fishing and leave other stuff aside. George "This is not Nam. This is bowling. Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted July 17, 2007 Root Admin Posted July 17, 2007 Well... I've known Jeremy for alot of years and I'm surprised at this incident. But I won't address it on the forum. Not the place. Sorry this happened. As for my comment of being childish... it was strong and I retract it. It was not intended for Jeremy's fish at all, but I can see how he may have taken it that way. But my point was taken, and it's only my opinion. It carries the same weight as anyone else.
Members ozarkriverrat Posted July 17, 2007 Members Posted July 17, 2007 great fish anyway jeremy ill take your picture all day with those fish regardless...looking forward to your forum, by the way ill add a fishing report for 7/16/07 running water sitting in the parking lot.
brownieman Posted July 17, 2007 Posted July 17, 2007 MAN...this thread took a wrong turn somewhere. Like terry said it's fun to hold fish in different positions to see how they look. I simply asked a question and jeremy gave me an answer and posed a question back...thought it would be interesting to see who was closest...not...de-railed ? Jeremy...was a pretty fish no matter what the size was...don't know what debunked the topic but i would still like to know the actual size...thought it was kinda fun guessing. I'll stick to my 19 1/2 or so if you don't mind sharing...just left me for one curious ?? My friends say I'm a douche bag ?? Avatar...mister brownie bm <><
