Members wdcarver Posted July 22, 2007 Members Posted July 22, 2007 I'm looking to buy a used canoe. Nothing fancy or expensive, just a good canoe to take my son or wife down the creeks or rivers, and maybe occassionally along the banks of nearby lakes. I live in the Branson, MO area. Any canoe that someone might part with for a little cash would be appreciatively considered.

Members wdcarver Posted July 31, 2007 Author Members Posted July 31, 2007 Thanks for all the replies. I've looked into them and have been looking around in my area. It seems hard to come up with a good condition canoe in my meager price range right now. I'm starting to lean toward waiting until fall or winter to try and find a jon boat with a small motor that I can use on either the lakes or rivers. I can always remove the motor to float the smaller creeks. I'm thinking this may be a better solution for me since most of my fishing will probably be on Eleven Point and Spring River in the Thayer, MO / Mammoth Springs, AR area.
