I'm looking to buy a used canoe. Nothing fancy or expensive, just a good canoe to take my son or wife down the creeks or rivers, and maybe occassionally along the banks of nearby lakes. I live in the Branson, MO area. Any canoe that someone might part with for a little cash would be appreciatively considered.

You can give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach a man to fish and he will eat for a lifetime.

Thanks for all the replies. I've looked into them and have been looking around in my area. It seems hard to come up with a good condition canoe in my meager price range right now.

I'm starting to lean toward waiting until fall or winter to try and find a jon boat with a small motor that I can use on either the lakes or rivers. I can always remove the motor to float the smaller creeks.

I'm thinking this may be a better solution for me since most of my fishing will probably be on Eleven Point and Spring River in the Thayer, MO / Mammoth Springs, AR area.

Bobber had a disco for sell. You might give him a pm.
