Members Marlin Posted July 26, 2007 Members Posted July 26, 2007 We have family that lives near HWY 12 bridge and I'm taking my brother and 9 year old nephew out early and late to catch anything we can from Sat. July 28th through the following Tuesday. How and where are the white bass right schooling now? Anyone have a take on how to have the most fun? We don't see them often and would love to have a great fishing weekend! Any tips would be welcome!!
Members Marlin Posted August 1, 2007 Author Members Posted August 1, 2007 We had a great time! We fished on Sunday and Monday mornings in the Prairie Creek area and had fun! The topwater action started around 7:30 a.m. and lasted til' 9 a.m. We chased them with Kastmasters and had a lot of luck... mainly white bass in the open water and a few nice Kentucky's around structure... probably 15 total the first day and 30 the next (all catch and release). Overall, it was a lot of fun and my nephew caught the biggest fish on Sunday and the first fish on Monday ending with some great keeper photos! Good luck out there! Marlin
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted August 1, 2007 Root Admin Posted August 1, 2007 Wonderful. Sounds like Beaver is fishing much better than Table Rock. Thanks.
