Brian Wise Posted August 21, 2007 Posted August 21, 2007 And if you'd like to get in on the fun, just volunteer to help with the Youth Conclave at the Conclave this October... I've done it the last two years and it is the BEST part of Conclave... I am working the youth conclave this year. I cannot wait! My wife is also going to be behind the lens for the kids at Dry Run so we should have some photos for you guys after Concalve. Brian My Youtube Channel
Members Oldschoolcane Posted August 27, 2007 Members Posted August 27, 2007 Thank you Steve, appreciate the great feedback! About when do those Arkansas leaves start changing? This is a special trip and I want to make sure were there for the colors. This trip has been a long time coming. Thanks again. Tim
Terry Beeson Posted August 28, 2007 Posted August 28, 2007 Tim, The fall change starts in the north around the end of September to early October. The PEAK is around the last of October... Just in time for the big browns to start "dewin' thar thang..." Click here and bookmark it to keep up with the foliage progress. I'm thinking unless we don't get ANY more rain, this will be a pretty good year in NW Ark and SW MO.... By the way... If you want to do the Arkansas fall foliage, DON'T miss highway 7 from Harrison to Russellville... There are other routes that are nice as well, but 7 is the best overall to me.
