While reading an article on this site that B. Babler wrote on keeping bass, it referred to these 2 years about a fish kill that happened on Table Rock. What was the reason or cause in regards to the events? I moved to the area back in '03 and so wasn't in the region.

Largemouth virus. And something quite similar to it hit Bull Shoals in 2002. It killed a fishery that had been going since the mid 50s. There were thousands of white bass caught from K Dock to the Powersite Dam each winter and spring. As of the spring of 2003 they were all but gone.

While the Table Rock fishery had done a good job of recovery, the Bull Shoals has not and doesn't seem to be going to in the near future.

The table rock recovery has been a slide over to spotted bass abd other substitutes. The largemouth are now beginning to come back. Personally, I can't believe how strong the fishery is.
