Members GSPHUNTER Posted May 25, 2022 Members Posted May 25, 2022 I'm heading to Norfork for Memorial Day weekend with my wife and three kids. We are staying in the mid lake area so I can run north or south if needed to find fish. I've been checking sites for updated fishing reports and can't find anything past the first week of May. This time of year things can change pretty quick. This is my first time coming down to Norfork and looking forward to it. I'm not looking to get a detailed how to, but would love to hear from anyone that has been out in the last few days on how they did. I'd love to find some walleye down there, but it doesn't seem like guys are catching a bunch of them, rather a few here and there while targeting stripers.
nomolites Posted May 25, 2022 Posted May 25, 2022 I have not been down recently but I would bottom bounce the 20’ contour +/- 5 and look for brush or breaks in that range; flats or gravel runouts toward the main lake. Spooning should be picking up as well once you find them. Mike GSPHUNTER 1
