Fishing Report

Well two of us put in a K-Dock today at 10:00 am and fished till 2:45. We caught three small largemouth at Trigger. We mainly threw rogues/husky jerks and some soft jerk baits for bass/walleye. We fished points and chunk rock. We didn't hit the flats but did see a few boats throwing stickbaits on them. We did a lot of watching and never saw a boat on the flats catch an "eye". We did try dropping a jig into some of the brush for a crappie but didn't manage to get a hit there either. It was an awesome day on the water though. Anyone else get out? Anyone catching any walleye or crappie?

Went out last sunday afternoon downstream from beaver and caught 2 cigar walleye, 1 white, and 8 black crappie. There was no real pattern. We did pick the crappie up along bluffs. Fish were caught on Sliders and hair jigs. It was amazing how shallow the were. Kinda like how the cappie on Table Rock were 2 weeks ago. I wish we would get a little bit of water flow on BS. A year ago today my buddy and I caught 3 keeper Walleye after dark, one of mine went 7 his went 9 lbs. Talk about a great trip to the pot hole.
