Thompson Fishing Guide Service Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 August 15, 2007 Stockton Lake Fishing Report If you like poached walleye, bass, crappie and catfish, this is the week for you. For the safety and well being of myself and my clients, I try not to fish during this heat. I suggest you take a break also. Fall fishing is right around the corner, so you need to book your trips soon. Marty Thompson Thompson Fishing Guide Service www.fishstockton.com 417-424-BASS
adjust555 Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 I have to agree with you.I'm done unless it cools of tremendously...Too hot in day and too many knats at night.
Dutch Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 I see now as a good time to fish. Last time I was there I only saw 3 boats and none of them were ride arounders. The campgrounds were nearly empty too. You gotta love it when the tourists are gone even if it is hot.
adjust555 Posted August 17, 2007 Posted August 17, 2007 If you don't like crowds now would be great time to go. Please remember if your not keeping the fish you catch, be gentle with them and release them quick..They get just as streesed as we do if not more
