Hey all,

I'm thinking of driving over to Taneycomo this Sunday. It looks like they've kicked up generation pretty hard over the last few days, probably due to the cold weather. What can I expect for the weekend? Will they drop the water so people can wade or will they likely continue with the same generation schedule to meet power demand? I know trying to predict generation is a crap shoot, but I'm just weighing my options for the weekend, as I'll probably head somewhere else if there's a good chance of little wadeable water on Sunday.

Thanks,

Boyd

They'll post for 3 days tomorrow. A wild guess would say they won't, because the weather is going to warm, and the lake is very low.

Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.

Thanks Wayne.

Where do you find the predicted generation for Taneycomo? I think I remember people discussing it, and they said that Missouri's predictions for generation were more accurate than the Arkansas predictions?

Thanks Mr Lilley.

I;m coming down there for the first time. I hope to get some quality wade time in this weekend. Got my scudzzzz and midges ready to go. I usually fish the Ark tailwaters. I'm a new member from Fenton, Mo.

You should have a great time. Crowds should be thin- we are less than half full.. first time we've been this way since December last year. We only have a couple of weekends a year when we don't fill up and the weekend before Christmas and Thanksgiving are two of them.

Lots of trout! If you fish Arkansas, you should do well here.
