So I fished for the first time around Diamond City and did not do very well.  I fished it like I do on Table Rock this time of year and that was not good (small swimbaits and grubs).  Any suggestions?

The weekend before I was at Buck Creek for three days and chased walleye mostly.  5:30 to seven I fished topwater and caught a lot of fish of the big mouth variety and A few smallmouth over 40  ft of water When the sun came up sunday I fished a crankbait around the points for three casts then threw a ned for 3 casts.  There were 1-2 smallmouth or spots on every point.  It has to be easy for me to catch bass.  Not being facetious.

Did you catch them on the Ned of crank?  What crank were you using?

Both, had a square bill in a craw color and a natural colored flicker shad.  Steeper banks I threw the flicker and shallower sloping banks threw the square bill.  If no bites on the crank worked the ned slow down the hill.

So I went Tuesday evening and tried the ned, super fluke and wiggle wart.  Caught 1 on a super fluke right up against the bank and a few more on a wiggle wart including a walleye and a crappie.  They were on the medium steep banks, not sure how else to say that.  The wiggle wart was the best by far.
