Ealy Posted February 12, 2006 Posted February 12, 2006 let me know next time you go i would like to head out and try it kirk I've grabbed on Big and Little Pigeon near Mountain Home, Bear Creek, Sugar Loaf, Carlton Creeks near Lead Hill, Flat Creek (few miles up from first backwater at Table Rock), Roark Creek in Branson where it runs into Taneycomo (drive around back side of Skaggs Hospital, park in apartment building parking lot), Bull Creek (Bridge at Walnut Shade and Bull Creek Village), Swan Creek (near Shadow Rock Park). You might even try the Finley at Bud's Bend and Beaver Creek running into Bull Shoals. I've never tried there, but have seen plenty of suckers there in the spring. To find new places go to creek arms running into the lake, start at the first backwater and keep walking upstream until you find them. Take some white bass gear when you go also. I hope this helps.
crappiefisherman Posted February 13, 2006 Posted February 13, 2006 with the water so low this year the sucker run mite suprise you.water is so low even the fish have seed ticks. good luck [ [
Members cheyenneboy Posted March 3, 2006 Members Posted March 3, 2006 i go to roark the people were very nice. last year was the first time i ever done it and some guy took the time to teach me a few tricks. and show me some spots where to go.
gonefishin Posted March 3, 2006 Author Posted March 3, 2006 I have never grabbed. I thought I might give it a try this year. With the water so low though, it may not be a good year for it. I would rather be fishin'. "Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch. Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote." Benjamin Franklin, 1759
