Quillback Posted May 20, 2024 Posted May 20, 2024 Water Levels on the Rise at Bull Shoals Lake With spring thunderstorms comes rising water levels on many lakes across Arkansas. As Bull Shoals Lake continues to rise above an elevation of approximately 665 feet, low-lying parking lots such as Lakeview and Lead Hill East become flooded, making the courtesy docks no longer usable. Therefore, we have temporarily removed the courtesy docks at these accesses and will reinstall them once the lake level recedes to the top of the boat ramp. At the Lakeview Access, the curve in the access road makes the dock an obstacle if it is not pulled out. However, if the lake continues to rise onto the access road, the Lakeview courtesy dock will become usable again. These access sites are still currently open, but boaters should always be mindful of underwater obstacles when launching during flooded conditions. We hope you have time to enjoy Bull Shoals Lake, but please be safe during flood conditions!
