How is the Bass Fishing

Still trying to decide what lake I want to go to next week. So how is the fishing down there?

Heading to Pomme tomorrow Morning, Wednesday. Coming back on Sunday morning and will report then.

So thinking about another trip to Pomme. How is the crappie and bass bite been.

Haven't been in a couple weeks.....but for me, last time out the crappie were shallower than one would expect.  Scattered from 3 FOW to 25 FOW, majority 7 foot down (even over deep water)  Best bite was in 8 to 10 fow, again with the fish holding above the bottom.

Only bass fished for about an hour both days.....several on a square bill.  Didn't try anything on top, but they ought to be on that bite too.
