timsfly Posted September 9, 2007 Author Posted September 9, 2007 The spring is putting out more water, both gates are up about 1' first time I've seen the gates open since spring, the river is really at what I consider to be a normal level, it is in good shape, it cleared up a lot last night, it is still off colored, but at least you can see the fish, won't be great sight fishing probably untill this weekend. I had good luck on small #14 bead head woolybuggers last night. Jerry is not at the hatchery today, so nobody knows the true output, I'll ask him tomorrow and see how much the output has increased. I just talked to the hatchery, one gate is open 1 foot, the other about 5" so it hasn't came up a bunch, but it sure looks good.
