Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted September 9, 2007 Root Admin Posted September 9, 2007 I'm sitting in Anchorage catching up with emails and the forum. Got this email from Gary but my mail server won't send a reply so... I'll post it here. Hope it helps. Hey Phil, Me and a buddy are kicking aroung going fishing tomorrow. Wondering if you can answer a couple of questions for me. I'm about 3 hrs. from there...wish I wasn't, but I am, lol. I would like to take my boat which is a 50 horse prop semi v hull jon... What times have they been running water...i'd rather fish when their running water than not. I have only boat fished Taney a couple of times...if i remember right the fog sets in and you can't hardley see anything. What time does the fog lift off of a morning good enouph to put your boat in and how long before dark does the fog settle back in of an evening?? Coopers Creek public ramp is pretty close to you isn't it?.. just downstream or do you have a boat ramp at your place. Any help is much appreciated...thanks Phil gary The fog differs every day. Since it's not as not, the fog may not be as bad. But it is high humidity which creates the fog too. I'd say 8 am would be safe. But the water isn't running till 3-4 pm. That may chance tomorrow- never know. You're 3 hours away... I'm 15 hours away. I'm in Anchorage airport waiting on my King Salmon flight. I may not be able to answer emails for awhile so you should ask people on the forum. Phil
