Members Rackersc Posted September 12, 2007 Members Posted September 12, 2007 I will be in Branson for a seminar 9-20 thru 09-22. I'd like to do a little night fishing but could use a bit of guidance. Anyone interested?
duckydoty Posted September 12, 2007 Posted September 12, 2007 I'd love to be able to fish with you, but I'm headed for Alaska on the 20th. I'm sure if your at the pavilion around dark, there will be some fellas more than happy to lead you in the right direction. In my opinion, when starting out night fishing, the best place to start might be the rebar hole and work your way down to the big hole. Not too tough of a place to fish. Olive, and black pine squirril sculpins with and with out cone heads, white mink with and with out cone heads, and all colors of mohair leaches should help you get into some fish. Start with a cast across current and dead drift through the swing, then vary the strip back untill you figure out what they are after that night. If you go 5-6 casts with out a bite, change up your strip or your fly. Good luck to you duckydoty A Little Rain Won't Hurt Them Fish.....They're Already Wet!! Visit my website at..
