Members Bad cast Posted January 29, 2006 Members Posted January 29, 2006 The weather was warm, mostly sunny,and windy. The spring was low and clear. I fished from 11:30 till 3:30. Considering my pathetic casting ability C&R 9 rainbows was pretty good for me. I caught 7 on a orange and peach glowbug and 2 on a tan scud. I seen about 15 others in the park fishing. This was my first C&R fishing trip and it was nice not to be elbow to elbow. Randy

You're right, it's nice to have no one in sight to just relax and be one with the fishes. I had a pretty good day too. Mostly on ginger maribou jigs. Landed a couple of rainbows pushing 2 1/2-3 lbs. Weather was awesome...Hope to see ya (or not) again soon!
