timsfly Posted November 1, 2007 Posted November 1, 2007 Great looking flies, I went out last night in the C&R area at Roaring River, this was the last fish I caught. I always try to quit on a good fish. http://s171.photobucket.com/albums/u294/ti...nt=PA310060.jpg I caught it on the reddish brown WD-40, sorry I don't know who tied it I didn't have the tags on them at the river, but it sure worked good for me. Thank you, guys for the great flies, I'm sure I'll use a few more today, I am going to fish crane, since they are running water at taney Tim Homesley 23387 st. hwy 112 Cassville, Mo 65625 Roaring River State park Tim's Fly Shop www.missouritrout.com/timsflyshop
troutchaser Posted November 1, 2007 Posted November 1, 2007 Got my flies yesterday. They look really great. It's always fun to open those fly swap packages and see what's inside. I'll be tying some of these myself, so if there are any secrets to the flies you tied, let everybody know. Paul Rone
The Caddis Posted November 1, 2007 Posted November 1, 2007 Tim- I tied the WD40, sorry about the lack of tags, I posted the recipe and how I fish in an earlier post. Glad you've enjoyed success using them.
