Members tkite Posted October 4, 2007 Members Posted October 4, 2007 Im going to Lake of the ozarks for the first next weekend . Ive been looking at my map and have about decided to try Indian Creek Cove up in the Gravois Arm. Anyone have any advice? Are there lots of boat docks up in this area to fish? Also i keep hearing horror stories about boat traffic will it be bad up in this area this time of year? Any help greatly appreciated.
davekeim Posted October 5, 2007 Posted October 5, 2007 Boat traffic this time of year is nothing. LOZ people are all about the summer! Fish the points with plastic worms and you'll do all right. Signed, Cardiac Abdito! Another Beautiful Day In The Ozarks
conman Posted October 6, 2007 Posted October 6, 2007 Keep a rod ready with something to throw at the white bass, I like either a big white/silver in-line spinner or a silver rattletrap. The whites and hybrids are starting to get active. They are a blast. With the cool weather coming the top water bite will be on in the morning, and possibly all day if there is cloud cover. Good Luck
