Members Gary Fakes Posted October 9, 2007 Members Posted October 9, 2007 Public meetings start October 12-14 on plnas for the new state park along the CurreNt River, also known as Alton Box Club. This could be a great location for another Montauk like park. Fishermen need to get involved in the process becuase I'm sure the National Park Service doesn't want anything done to this great piece of River property. Meetings are in Salem, Montauk, and Eminence and an online survey starts October 10 at www.mostateparks.com/survey/.htm PASS THE WORD AROUND TO ANY FISHING CLUBS YOU MAY BE IN.
Gene K Posted October 15, 2007 Posted October 15, 2007 I don't know why, but when you copy and paste that URL it results in "page caanot be found." If you go here and then click on the link you can get to the survey. Or, a direct link is here.
2sheds Posted December 3, 2007 Posted December 3, 2007 http://www.mostateparks.com/survey.htm Here's the URL link, but note that the original survey has evolved into a press release. Looks like its a done deal ! Please get involved and support. Once transfer completes in 2008, information on future plans will be posted with a request for public comment.
