Bill Beck
I Am getting ready to go fishing and i am wondering what you would recomend? The best bite in the mid lake from Kimberling City to the dam is on secondary and main lake points using a Lucky Craft pointer 100 in ghost minnow and chartruese shad. When they quit biting the jerk bait, use a 5 inch grub with a 1/4 oz head in smoke or smoke black flake. Swim the grub down to 15 to 18 feet. The fish will also bite a brown 5/15 or 3/8 jigs on secondary points 10-20 feet deep. Good Luck, Bill Table Rock Guide Service 19 Schooner Creek Rd. Members willow
Bill, sorry bassmagnet I'm on your space but question to Bill. I'm headed down in middle May to fish the first time. Will be at the Wilderness club can you give me some idea of where the best places would be around that area? Have an older Tracker that I don't trust going too far. Mainly Bass. Thanks Mike

Early in May you should fish secondary points with light line and a split shot rig with a centipede in green pumpkin. some bass will hit top water early in the morning and on cloudy days around pole timber on main lake and secondary points. From mid May on, I would fish main lake points with split shot and carolina rig with a green pumpkin centepede and fish top water on main lake points around pole timber also a drop shot rig, 24-30 feet deep on main lake gravel points. I know others prefer sammys and boingers as well. Everytime I walk-the-dog it seems to scare off the bass so I just stick with the redfin. Just my two pesos.
