Tragic day... my one regret in life is that I did not attend one of their concerts before this... Several have tried, but their ain't NOBODY can replace Ronnie...

the line up just isn't the same. I know a couple of folks who saw them in KC back in the 70s. I told them they might have seen the show where Steve Gaines played on stage with the band the first time (in KC)

I saw them in Springfield on the "Street Survivors" tour. I was always a fan and was an even bigger fan after Cassie and Steve joined the band, having grown up listening to Steve Gaines in various local bands.

Okay, I'll keep the guessing going. Here is a few hints. He died when he was 27. He did a guiter version of the Star Spangled Banner that upset a few people. He was a guiter master! Grew up during the drug culture. (May have had some to do with his death)
