Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted February 1, 2006 Root Admin Posted February 1, 2006 If you want big trout try trolling a rapala or lucky craft from Cooper Creek down to the bridges and even lower in the lake. Thanks the best and easiest way to have a chance at a big trout (brown).
Members MOFish Posted February 2, 2006 Members Posted February 2, 2006 I caught a nice 20-inch rainbow just up from Short Creek on a 1/32 oz. olive jig fished under a Thill float on 2 lb. green Trilene test using a 6' ultralight, and a buddy caught both an 18 and a 16 inch brown on a pure silver Panther Martin (#2). BTW, we released all of the larger fish we caught so no fish died in the making of this post.
